Maria Cristina Jimenez, the CEO of Coral Gables Hospital, was killed in a murder-suicide. According to CBS4 Miami, Miami-Dade County Police determined Jimenez was shot and killed by her husband Antonio Mazzorana on Nov. 23 in their home in the Schenley Park neighborhood. He then took his own life. She was 61. 'We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our colleague and friend, Cristina,' stated Joshua Putter, president of the South Florida region for Steward Health Care, which owns Coral Gables Hospital.
